Initium Corporate Finance advises ambitious privately owned UK businesses, typically with an Enterprise Value of £10m to £100m, on company sales, succession and exit planning, valuation and related corporate finance matters.

As a guide, the businesses we work with will often generate £1m or more in profit or EBITDA, although this is not a rigid qualifying rule. What matters is that there is sufficient scale, growth potential and strategic value to attract serious trade buyers, Private Equity investors or other potential acquirers.

Initium works across multiple industries. The first is when owners are considering a sale in the relatively near future. Our sale process is designed to create a choice of buyers because competition can have a material impact on both valuation and deal terms.

The second is much earlier. An owner might know that they eventually want to sell but still have several years to prepare. Initium’s Value Assessment and Value Maximiser services help shareholders understand what their company is worth today, identify the factors increasing or suppressing its value, and create a practical roadmap towards a future exit. The Value Assessment is specifically aimed at ambitious companies with £1m+ EBITDA.
