In a deal advised by Initium, Collective Capital Limited acquired UK-based online beauty retailer Organic 100 Ltd, trading as Naturisimo, which specialises in natural, ethical beauty products. This acquisition adds to our record of connecting purpose-driven, privately-owned companies with leading strategic investors.

Founded in 2008, by Dr Cristina Llamas-Rey, Naturisimo is a celebrated name in natural beauty, earning accolades such as the Best Online Retailer award at the Natural Beauty Retail Awards in 2019. The company is known for its commitment to cruelty-free, natural, and organic products, setting a high standard for transparency and sustainability in beauty. 

The acquirer, Collective Capital, is an investment company that funds projects and businesses designed to create positive social impact while also aiming for strong financial returns. 

Reflecting on the sales process, and the part Initium played, Dr Llamas-Rey commented: “Selling the business did take time. But that’s what was required to do a good job.
