1st Touch (now Digital Solutions by Aareon) sold to Aareon AG

Leading German software group Aareon AG, a wholly owned subsidiary of Aareal Bank AG, has acquired 1st Touch, a leading mobile technology provider for the UK public sector. Initium advised the shareholders of 1st Touch.

At the time of the transaction, Southampton-based 1st Touch was recognised as the market leader in the development and supply of mobile technologies for the UK social housing and local government sectors, delivering significant savings and operational benefits to organisations with mobile workforces. Aareon was considered the leading consultancy and IT systems house for the European property sector, with over 50,000 users of its systems throughout Europe.

The Aareon group maintains its leading market status with locations across Germany, The Netherlands, France, Sweden, Spain and the UK. It has over 13,000 customers, more than 2,000 employees and 18 million units in the market. 1st Touch is now known as Digital Solutions by Aareon.
