Full Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter
This promotion is organised by Initium Corporate Finance Limited, registered in England and Wales (Company No. 02932734), whose registered office is at Kingsbrook House, Kingsclere Park, Kingsclere, Newbury, Berkshire, RG20 4SW (“Initium”, “we”, “us”, “our”).
2. Eligibility
This promotion is open exclusively to UK-based company shareholders, directors, and other authorised representatives aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.
Employees of Initium, its affiliates, agents, or anyone professionally connected with this promotion (and their immediate family members) are not eligible to enter.
3. Promotional Period
Entries open at 09:00 BST on 15 April 2026 and close at 17:00 BST on 17 April 2026. Entries received outside these times will not be accepted.
4. How to Enter
To enter, scan the QR code displayed on Initium’s promotional materials at the BizX 2026 or visit https://www.initium.com/bizx-2026-competition/ and complete the entry form with your name, company details, and business email address.
No purchase is necessary, and there is no charge to enter.
Only one entry per person or per company is permitted. Multiple entries will be disqualified.
5. Prize
There is one (1) prize available: a Free Value Assessment Consultancy Package from Initium Corporate Finance, with a notional value of £5,000.
The Value Assessment includes:
- A bespoke and independent valuation of the winner’s business;
- A full analysis of market position, strengths, and weaknesses;
- Comparative benchmarking against key competitors;
- A strategic report detailing how to maximise enterprise value.
The Value Assessment will be delivered over a 6–8 week period and may be conducted in person or virtually, as agreed with the winner.
The prize is non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and no cash alternative will be offered.
The consultation must be booked and completed within three (3) months of winner notification, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
6. Winner Selection and Notification
The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the promotional period. The draw will take place on 1 May 2026.
The winner will be notified by email or telephone within seven (7) days of the draw.
If the winner does not respond within fourteen (14) days of being contacted, Initium reserves the right to select an alternate winner from the remaining valid entries.
7. Publicity
By entering this promotion, entrants consent to Initium announcing their name, company name, and region (e.g. “John Smith, ABC Holdings Ltd, Manchester”) in post-event marketing or on Initium’s website and social media channels.
If you wish to opt out of publicity, please inform Initium in writing when you are notified of your win.
8. Data Protection
Personal data collected in connection with this promotion will be processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Data will be used solely for:
(a) administering the competition;
(b) contacting the winner; and
(c) legitimate business communications from Initium Corporate Finance.
Data will not be shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

9. Disqualification
Initium reserves the right to disqualify entries that:
- are incomplete, illegible, or fraudulent;
- are submitted by automated means or via third parties; or
- breach these Terms and Conditions or any applicable law.
10. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Initium accepts no responsibility for lost, delayed, misdirected, or corrupted entries (including those arising from technical faults).
Initium shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in this promotion or the use of the prize, except where caused by Initium’s negligence or fraud.
11. Amendments and Cancellation
Initium reserves the right to suspend, amend, or cancel this promotion where it becomes necessary to do so, for reasons beyond its reasonable control.
Any changes will be announced on Initium’s website.
12. General
This promotion is free to enter and does not constitute a lottery or form of gambling.
The decision of Initium regarding any aspect of this promotion is final and binding. No correspondence will be entered into.
Failure by Initium to enforce any provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of that provision.
13. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
