Rob Gibson

Rob is the Independent Trustee at employee-owned Initium, bringing more than 30 years’ leadership experience across international businesses and owner-managed companies. His executive career spans finance, operations and executive leadership within the engineering, construction and real estate sectors, including serving as Chief Operating Officer for JLL’s Global/EMEA Capital Markets divisions, where he helped lead one of the world’s largest commercial real estate advisory businesses.

Rob’s extensive experience includes board advisory, executive coaching, mentoring and strategic consulting, working with business owners, boards and leadership teams across a wide range of sectors. A highly respected Vistage Chair, and member of the board of directors for the Better Buildings Partnership, he also serves as a Non-Executive Director and trusted adviser to a range of ambitious businesses, helping leaders improve performance, navigate succession and deliver sustainable growth.

A Chartered Management Accountant and holder of the ICAEW Non-Executive Director Certificate, Rob combines commercial leadership with strong governance expertise. Alongside his work at Initium, he continues to advise, coach and mentor business leaders throughout the UK and overseas.
