A memorable evening at Warwick Castle with Initium
Liz Jackson MBE writes: On a crisp December evening, Initium welcomed our former clients, the Fellows, to the historic Warwick Castle for an event that celebrated both the holiday season and our remarkable community. The castle, adorned with festive lights, an ice rink and the aroma of mulled wine, provided the perfect setting for meaningful connections and celebration.
Our co-hosts for the night were Evelyn Partners, and highlights included a lively dungeon tour, where jesters and jailors entertained (and mildly threatened) our guests, blending humour with theatrics for a memorable experience. This light-hearted twist set the tone for an evening that was as engaging as it was festive.
The dungeon tour was followed by an indulgent three-course dinner in The Great Hall, where we were surrounded by knights in armour and flagons of wine. Over dinner, my amazing PAs used their arts of persuasion to encourage our guests to part with money to buy raffle tickets. We raised an impressive £1,350 for our Charity of The Year. Life + Limb are an amazing organisation that educates healthcare professionals globally on how to treat physical trauma in low- and middle-income countries.
At the heart of the event were the Initium Fellows – entrepreneurs who we have helped scale and exit their businesses, now creating impactful legacies. Their energy and vision define the strength of our network and our shared purpose. Feedback from attendees, inspired by what they experienced during the evening, was amazing. Our CEO Jonathan Dunn, Initium’s answer to Michael Bublé, topped off the night by leading us in singing our favourite Christmas songs.
