Akbar Khan
Assistant Manager
Joining us in 2025, Akbar Khan is an Assistant Manager and advises clients across a range of M&A transactions, working closely with management teams and shareholders to support deal execution throughout the transaction lifecycle, including financial analysis, valuation, due diligence coordination and buyer engagement.
Prior to joining Initium, Akbar was a Senior M&A Analyst with The Constellation Group, where he advised on buy-side acquisitions in the software and technology sector. He previously trained at Grant Thornton as a Corporate Tax Adviser and spent over three years at PwC within the Assurance practice, working with London Top Tier clients across a variety of industries. Earlier in his career, Akbar gained commercial finance experience at ZF Group, supporting budgeting, forecasting and strategic financial analysis.
Akbar holds a BSc in Accounting for Management from Aston University and is ACA qualified, having trained with PwC as part of the ICAEW programme.
