Exante Diet sold to THG

Exante Diet, an on online weight loss company, has been acquired by The Hut Group (now known as THG), a UK-based e-commerce and technology company.

Founded in 2008, at the time of the acquisition, Exante Diet was based in Poole, Dorset and specialised in providing nutritionally balanced meal replacement products aimed at supporting weight loss and healthy lifestyles. The company’s product range included own-brand shakes, bars, soups, and porridge.

THG is a Manchester-based e-commerce and technology company, founded in 2004. It owns a portfolio of direct-to-consumer brands in beauty, health, and nutrition, including Myprotein, Lookfantastic, and ESPA and operates globally. THG also offers end-to-end e-commerce services through its tech platform, THG Ingenuity, which provides website hosting, fulfilment, marketing, and more for both its own brands and external clients. With in-house manufacturing and a global logistics network, THG is vertically integrated and focuses on digital retail and tech-enabled growth.
