Julian Nicol
Information Technology Manager
Julian joined us in 2013. His experience of working within large corporate infrastructures has helped Initium implement significant changes and solutions over the years, adding value and efficiencies to the business. Becoming our Information Technology Manager in 2020, he continues to adapt and develop this side of business to help improve our technology stack and ways of working.
Julian started his career in information technology in 2000, gaining his Microsoft Certified System Engineer accreditation that year. His first role was with ExxonMobil, he then later spent 12 years supporting Motorola. Julian also has a BSc degree in Natural Science from the Open University.
When he’s not orchestrating IT advancements at Initium, Julian is crafting sonic landscapes — mixing and mastering heavy riffs and thunderous drums in rock and heavy metal from his home studio.
