Style Research agrees growth capital deal with Lyceum Capital

Style Research (Style Analytics), a leading provider of factor-based analysis software for investment professionals, has partnered with growth investors Lyceum Capital – now known as Horizon Capital – to accelerate expansion. Initium advised the shareholders of Style Research on the transaction.

Founded in 1997, Style Research is headquartered in London and has offices in Boston and Montreal. The company provides portfolio analysis and market analysis services and research facilities for global institutional investment professionals. With subscription-based recurring revenues, an exceptional client retention rate and strong cash-flow, the business demonstrated double-digit growth.

The investment was earmarked to fuel Style Research’s growth in the United Kingdom, North America, Europe and Asia and fund new product development.
