Spur Information Solutions sold to ACS, a Xerox Company

Affiliated Computer Services (ACS), owned by printing giant Xerox, has acquired parking enforcement software company Spur Information Solutions. Based in Hampshire, Spur Information Solutions provides ticket permit management services to organisations including Transport for London and various local authorities. Initium advised the shareholders of Spur on the transaction.

Spur’s core software helps authorities implement and enforce local parking codes across a municipality. This includes processing parking notices and permits to collecting evidence of violations via handheld devices. Parking enforcement officers are able to wirelessly transmit information including GPS coordinates and digital images of license plates, as well as access real-time data to ensure fast and accurate enforcement.
