Direct Medical Imaging sold to Alliance Medical Group

A UK medical practice, which provides patient scans and x-ray services to the National Health Service (NHS) and the private sector, has been sold to Alliance Medical Group in a deal managed by Initium.

Alliance Medical has acquired 100% of Lancashire-based Direct Medical Imaging (DMI) for an undisclosed sum from DMI’s two founders, as it continues to build its national footprint in outsourced radiology services.

The deal includes DMI’s top-of-the-range scanners, skilled radiologists and physiotherapists, and extensive regional client base including football clubs, insurance providers, and NHS trusts.
