Initium™ Limited was founded in 2001 and is a leading provider of in-flight Point of Sales (‘POS’) and associated back office and bond systems to airlines.

Our in-flight handheld POS solution SkyShopper™ is robust, resilient, easy to use and specifically designed to meet the needs of ‘duty free‘, ‘buy on board’ and ‘catalogue sales’ operations. We have extensive experience of in-flight retail operations and the information technology required to drive them.

Our technology is used by eighteen of the World’s major airlines, including three of the five largest US carriers. Our customers use over 3,000 of our handheld computers to process sales across over 600,000 flights a year. Our bond and back office systems are used in over 40 locations in the Americas, the Middle East, Europe and Asia, and process over $200 million of transactions per annum, including $100 million of credit card sales through 7 different card processing companies. Our systems generate commission payments to over 18,000 flight attendants every month.
